Hi, i'm Christina - the artist behind Crooked Tree Tattoo

I've been creating art for most of my life, ever since I was a kid growing up in the hills of Eastern Kentucky, where storytelling is as natural as breathing. I earned my degree in Fine Arts and have worked across a wide variety of mediums: muralist, portrait artist, illustrator, and even jeweler with Tiffany & Co.

Tattooing was a natural evolution for me. After completing my apprenticeship, I continued specialized training in permanent makeup, and, most recently, an advanced mentorship with Stacie-Rae Weir, founder of the A.R.T. Method. With her guidance, I've been able to add areola restorative work, scar and stretch mark revision, skin rejuvenation techniques, and trauma-informed client care to my services, along with custom work that feels like it has always belonged to you and you alone.

My early years in Appalachia shaped the way I approach tattooing: slow, thoughtful, personal, and centered on the real human sitting with me.

My studio is private and intentionally peaceful. People often tell me they feel at home with me - maybe it's my age, maybe it's my grounding, maybe it's the fact that I've lived enough life to hold space for someone else's. You get to show up exactly as you are, and I'm honored to come alongside you in whatever stage of life has brought you to my studio.

More than anything, I believe tattoos can be both art and healing - a way to mark survival, celebrate identity, or simply create something beautiful to carry with you.

If that resonates with you, I'd love to work together.
